16th Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair
At the 16th Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair, 11 wineries from Ningxia's Helan Mountain East foothills wine region showcased their products, drawing crowds of local and international buyers to experience their distinctive terroir. As a pivotal export market for Ningxia wines, Hong Kong has shown consistently strong demand—35.35% of the region’s total wine exports in 2023 were shipped to Hong Kong, rising to 52.9% in the first three quarters of 2024, solidifying its position as the top destination.
This year’s fair featured over 600 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions, serving as a key gateway to Asia’s wine and spirits market. Ningxia’s delegation curated a 100-square-meter thematic pavilion titled "China’s Wine Legacy: Excellence Rooted in Terroir," offering tastings and masterclasses to highlight the region’s premium quality and cultural heritage to global audiences.
