Zhou Shuzhen

Zhou Shuzhen is a renowned local winemaker in the Ningxia Helan Mountain’s East Foothill Wine Region, with over 30 years of professional experience. She has been dedicated to advancing winemaking and technical innovation in the region, with a profound understanding of its unique terroir. Upholding the philosophy of “respecting nature and pursuing quality,” she skillfully blends traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, imbuing her wines with distinctive character and soul. She is also actively involved in academic exchange and technical training, playing a vital role in promoting the sustainable development of Ningxia’s wine sector. Zhou Shuzhen has won numerous awards at global wine competitions, establishing herself as a leading figure in China's wine sector.

Emma Ding

After her master’s degree in economics, Emma began her career in the financial profession. To pursue inner growth, she founded her wine shop brand, beginning a journey to forge her path in the world of wine.

In the spring of 2013, following her heart, Emma reached the foot of the remote and untouched Helan Mountain. Instantly captivated by the Helan Mountain, she answered the silence of this 2-billion-year-old virgin land, then indulged in the cultivation of Jade Vineyard.

With her endless passion for the terroir and instinct for making wine, Emma feels the rhythm of the four seasons with her poet’s tender heart. On the other hand, she keeps a meticulous scientific spirit and methodical precision to achieve perfection. She built Jade Vineyard from the ground up, bringing its brilliance and beauty to the world.

Highlights

 In 2019, Jade Vineyard stood out from over 6,000 wineries and 13,000 wines worldwide at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), earning the prestigious “50th Anniversary Wine Discovery Award.”

Jade Vineyard has been selected multiple times as a producer of national diplomatic gifts. Most notably in 2025, six of its premium wines were chosen as part of China’s official Diplomatic Gift of the Year.

Jade Vineyard has been certified as a China National High-Tech Enterprise and a Specialized and Sophisticated SMEs.
